National Awards of Landscape Excellence - The National Awards of Landscape Excellence is a way for Canada to recognize those companies that have actively participated in significantly raising the level of professionalism in the landscape industry.

National Tree Day - Each year CNLA members works with students and the public across Canada, to help them learn about the environmental benefits of trees, through planting events at schools in members' local communities. 

National Plastics Recycling Week - This initiative, led by CNLA, gives members of the trade as well as the general public an opportunity to show their environmental stewardship by responsibly disposing of their horticultural waste.

Publications

CNLA Newsbrief - A bi-monthly publication produced in the CNLA office. The Newsbrief is the industry source for national news that affects the entire industry. The Newsbrief continues to bring CNLA members up-to-date and timely information on the state of the industry and news surrounding their association.

CNLA Membership Guide - The CNLA Membership Guide is a comprehensive member listing indexed by provincial association and membership type. Each listing includes the various services and products offered by over 3,800 member companies from across Canada in the landscape, nursery, and garden centre sectors.

Canadian Standards for Nursery Stock - The Canadian Standards for Nursery Stock is a set of minimum professional standards for the nursery industry.

Landscape OnSites - Now available for purchase or free download, Landscape OnSites is a series of 10-15 minute training sessions for crews of all skill levels. 

In addition, every CNLA member receives a complimentary subscription to Landscape Trades magazine.

Green Careers Canada

There are plenty of career opportunities in the field of horticulture. The Landscape industry has worked closely with the Ministries of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU), to provide education at the high school, college and university levels that give individuals the skills they need for a successful career in the industry.
