ELCA Exchange Program | February 28, 2014
Text size:

Are you interested in being involved in the exchange program offered through the European Landscape Contractors Association (ELCA)?  This program allows you to offer temporary positions at your company for young landscapers looking for international experience.  ELCA has contacted CNLA in the past to see if any members are interested in having a young landscaper at their company.  This has been on an ad-hoc basis.

If you want to become involved formally, you can sign up to become a member of ELCA’s Committee of Firms.  There is an annual fee of €175 to be part of the Committee of Firms.  This allows your company to be listed as an official participant in the exchange program, along with the number of placements you are offering, the time frame for the position, and the type of work you do.  This list is provided to potential exchange participants, and they are able to contact you directly if they are interested.

Employees can also take advantage of the program and gain valuable work experience in another country.  Interested young landscapers can contact the ELCA office to view participating companies, and connect with the company of their choice.  Participating young landscapers receive a professional training passport, which provides detailed information concerning the professional training and additional qualifications they learn abroad.
